Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Shake Your Fun you fully accept these Terms of Service. If you do not accept them, you may not use the application. Acceptance is mandatory at registration.

2. Who may use Shake Your Fun

You must be at least 18 years old to register. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is truthful. You may not create an account if your access to the service was previously revoked.

3. Your account

You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Profile information — photograph, display name, age, gender, interests — must relate to you and must not be misleading. Impersonating other people is prohibited.

4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour

Shake Your Fun operates a zero-tolerance policy towards objectionable content and users who behave abusively.

You may not post, send or share content that:

  • is harassing, threatening, intimidating or defamatory;
  • incites hatred or discriminates on the basis of ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation or gender identity;
  • is sexually explicit, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate;
  • depicts or promotes violence, self-harm or illegal activity;
  • constitutes spam, fraud, phishing or unsolicited commercial solicitation;
  • violates another person's privacy or discloses their personal data without consent;
  • infringes the intellectual property rights of others;
  • concerns or involves persons under 18 years of age.

You may not harass, stalk or persistently contact another user after they have ended the conversation or blocked you.

Violation of these rules results in removal of the content and suspension or permanent termination of the account, without notice and without refund.

5. Reporting and moderation

Any user may report another user or any content considered inappropriate, using the Report user function available on the profile card and within the chat.

We undertake to:

  • review every report within 24 hours of receiving it;
  • remove content that violates these Terms;
  • suspend or remove the accounts responsible for violations;
  • notify the competent authorities where required.

Reports are confidential: the reported user is not informed of the identity of the person who submitted the report.

6. Blocking other users

You may block another user at any time using the Block function available on the profile card and in the chat. A blocked user can no longer contact you, no longer appears in your search results and cannot view your profile. Blocking takes effect immediately and requires no justification.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By uploading it you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display it within the application for the sole purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when you remove the content or close your account.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

8. Meeting in person

Shake Your Fun connects people who may choose to meet in the real world. We do not verify the identity of users and we do not perform criminal background checks.

We recommend that you meet other people only in public places, that you tell someone you trust where you are, and that you break off contact if you feel uncomfortable. Any meeting takes place entirely at your own risk.

9. Suspension and account closure

We may suspend or close your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time from your profile settings; closure entails deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Privacy

The processing of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

11. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the conduct of other users, from content they post, or from meetings arranged through the application.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. In the event of material changes we will notify you within the application. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the consumer's place of residence, where provided by applicable law.
